Gorgeous Wedding at Culpepper Inn in Elizabeth City

I had heard of the Culpepper Inn in Elizabeth City, NC and finally had the opportunity to photograph a wedding reception there last weekend. I love traveling to new locations for weddings, and Elizabeth City is such a beautiful town I can’t wait to go back and photograph more weddings! Maternity Portrait in Yorktown

I had a great time photographing Maureen & Jordan around Yorktown, VA for their maternity portrait session last weekend. We had nice weather and were able to try a few spots I had never used before, with fabulous results! The photos are almost done, and here is one of my favorite’s so far. Enjoy!

I'm always careful with maternity portraits to keep everyone comfortable, and this slightly reclined position provided by the natural curve in the tree worked perfectly to keep everyone comfortable.

Hampton SPCA Fur Ball Red Carpet Event

I had a GREAT time photographing the dogs and volunteers at the annual SPCA fundraising event – the Fur Ball – in Hampton, VA a couple weeks ago. Between the ticket sales and silent fundraiser, they raised a ton of money and all to help the animals.

With so many photographers & pet owners taking photos of the dogs entrance, it truly felt like a red carpet event!

Great wedding at the Newport News Marriott

Had a wonderful time photographing Jeanna & Bob and the family again at their wedding at the Newport News Marriott. It was a last minute change (as in less than 7 days before) from their original May date but everyone had a great attitude and lots of fun dancing the night away. The Perfect Christmas Present

Thank you again Michelle & Ryan in Williamsburg for having me photograph another milestone – your newborn daughter! There are a lot of photos so you will have some photos that aren’t holiday themed but I had to post this one because I can’t help but smile every time I look at her sweet face. Happy Holidays everyone!

Casey was a little early, so she was a little small for her santa hat but was happy to cuddle up under the Christmas tree for a super fun newborn portrait session.
